Stretchy plastic items such as carrier bags, magazine wrappers and film will no longer be collected for recycling but many types of plastic film such as carrier bags and similar can be recycled at big supermarkets. (Some bags say this on them.)  You can also take these to Ffrwdgrech.

Please click here to see the flier detailing items that can and those that cannot be recycled.

Community Consultation Action Plan

Llanfrynach Community Council Action Plan

In 2008 the Community Council, in partnership with Brecon Beacons National Park Authority conducted a community consultation.  Residents made many suggestions, some for BBNPA, some for Powys County Council and some for the Community Council.

The Community Council is proud that it has facilitated or addressed many of the ideas and suggestions which came out of this consultation.

Five years in Summer 2013, councillors have carried out a new Community Council Consultation 2013 to ask residents what they would like to see done for their communities in the future.  The questionnaire went to every home and business in the area.  Residents were also able to raise issues which concern them with councillors at the shows and sports in Cantref on 27th May; Llanfrynach 13th July and Groesffordd 26th August.

Following the Community Consultation, Cllr Tony Hamnett developed an action plan for the Community Council to tackle the various points raised; details of this can be found by clicking on the link below:
