The Community Council owns and, through a lease, the hall is managed as a registered charity by a Management Committee. Although known locally as the Groesffordd Village Hall, after its location in the village, its official title is the Llanhamlach Community Hall. The hall was built through the efforts of the villagers for the use of meetings, lectures, classes and for recreation and leisure with the object of improving the life of the residents. The hall, which is bright, warm and recently renovated with a modern kitchen, plays host to a wide range of private functions, public meetings as well as working conferences. It is licensed to seat up to 100 people. It also has the advantage of having a large car park. As the hall has large windows on two sides it has particularly found favour with a number of art groups who regularly meet on Thursdays, Fridays and periodically at weekends.
The hall may be hired by individuals, groups and organisations and for local people and organisations it can be offered at a discounted rate.
For individuals and groups: £48 per day and £26 per 1/2 day or evening
For local events: £26 per day and £15per 1/2 day or evening
